Our conures
We are pleased to introduce Jack (right) and Stormfly(left), talented, loving companions, trained to do many things. Jack joined our family in October 2022, so named because we really didn't know (or care) whether she (we learned) was a boy or girl. We loved Jack and helped "him" develop his social skills, including learning to talk and fly, as Jack never really cared to spread his wings much in the beginning. My wife and I agreed that Jack needed a friend (and my wife wanted her own burd), soooo we got Stormfly!
Fast forward 12 months later, Jack laid an egg!! OMG!! Jack's a girl...and Stormfly is definitely a boy. What to do now...
Well, like every animal on this farm, we cultivated and helped them the best way we know how, assisting only when necessary in the first days of their lives. And what an amazing experience it's been. We're so proud of the awesome parents they've been to these first 3 adorable babies!
Please understand that we're not breeders, at least in any traditional sense. We never intended to mate our conures and even understood that males and females among them aren't always bonded pairs. But we do believe in letting nature and God's plans take their course, and here we are, blessed with a few new unexpected lives to care for and enjoy.
All of our animals, from the smallest to the largest, enrich so many aspects of our lives, we are honored to share them with others who may enjoy them as much as we do.
